Jack Daniel's is set to introduce the iconic Jack Daniel's & Coca-Cola cocktail as a ready-to-drink (RTD), pre-mixed cocktail option in the United States for the first time. This partnership between Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey and Coca-Cola has culminated in the creation of the Jack Daniel's & Coca-Cola RTD, inspired by one of the most popular "bar-calls" in the world. The pre-mixed cocktail initially appeared on store shelves in Mexico last autumn and is scheduled to roll out to other global markets throughout 2023.
Dallas Cheatham, the Jack Daniel's RTD Brand Director, expressed their excitement, stating, "We are thrilled to offer the classic Jack & Coke cocktail to consumers in a consistent, convenient, and portable format. Jack & Coke has a rich history dating back over a century and is beloved worldwide. We take pride in officially launching the Jack Daniel's & Coca-Cola RTD, uniting these two iconic brands in a ready-to-drink format for the first time in the United States."
Dan White, Chief of New Revenue Streams for The Coca-Cola Company, emphasized the significance of this launch, saying, "This is a milestone moment for both Coca-Cola and Jack Daniel's. It builds on the enduring affinity people have for these two iconic brands and underscores our commitment to innovation, from the straightforward to the intricate. We are truly enthusiastic about presenting this timeless cocktail in a fresh and exciting way through our collaboration with Jack Daniel's and their distribution network."
The product's can and packaging prominently display the well-known trademarks "Coca-Cola" and "Jack Daniel's." They also feature clear responsibility symbols, emphasizing the importance of responsible consumption and that the product should only be enjoyed by individuals of legal drinking age. Jack Daniel's & Coca-Cola RTD will adhere to the responsible marketing practices upheld by Jack Daniel's and The Coca-Cola Company.
In the United States, the alcohol beverage volume (ABV) will be 7%, and a version with Coca-Cola Zero-Sugar will be introduced in May. Both variations will be accessible at retailers nationwide with a suggested retail price of $12.99 for a 4-pack.
Jack Daniel's, established in 1866 in Lynchburg, Tennessee, and The Coca-Cola brand, founded in 1886 in Atlanta, join forces to provide a classic cocktail experience in a convenient ready-to-drink format.
