Houston, Texas — Sidewayz has announced the upcoming U.S. launch of its boxed spiked juice ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktail line, introducing a juice-forward format to the growing alcoholic RTD category.
Positioned within the flavored alcohol segment, Sidewayz enters the market with a packaging format designed for portability and group occasions. The brand’s boxed configuration aims to offer an alternative to canned hard seltzers and single-serve bottled cocktails, targeting social settings where multi-serve convenience is preferred.
The launch comes amid continued evolution in the U.S. RTD category, where consumers are exploring alternatives beyond traditional malt-based seltzers and spirit-based canned cocktails. Juice-based alcoholic formats remain a smaller but emerging segment within the broader RTD space.
“Our goal is to introduce a juice-forward RTD option that aligns with social occasions and community-driven consumption,” said a spokesperson from García Carrión, the company behind Sidewayz. “We see opportunity in expanding format variety within the RTD space while maintaining familiarity in flavor.”
Sidewayz will debut with six core flavors at launch (Blue Raspberry, Strawberry Lemonade, Fruit Punch, Mango Pineapple, Watermelon, and Tropical Blast), with distribution initially focused on select U.S. markets. The brand has confirmed plans for phased regional expansion pending retail partnerships.
The company has also indicated that its packaging strategy was developed with retail shelf efficiency and transport practicality in mind, positioning the product for both on-premise and off-premise opportunities.
