The new ready-to-drink cocktail brand officially launches on Gopuff and at select retailers, bringing a grown-up twist on a nostalgic classic to the canned cocktail aisle
NEW YORK — Tempted, a new ready-to-drink cocktail brand co-founded by DJ and social media personality Sommer Ray, is now available for purchase. The brand's debut product is a canned Dirty Shirley, a category long overlooked in the RTD space, crafted with cherry and pomegranate flavors, a hint of lime, and a deliberately light level of carbonation.
The RTD cocktail market has expanded at more than 15% annually in recent years, driven by consumers looking for high-quality, convenient alternatives to bar-made drinks. Despite the Dirty Shirley ranking among the most frequently ordered cocktails by drinkers aged 21 to 40, the beverage has been largely absent from store shelves in a ready-to-drink format. Tempted was created specifically to address that void.
The brand's founding team spent years enjoying Dirty Shirleys at bars before realizing no canned version existed that actually delivered on the experience. Rather than relying on the aggressive sweetness and heavy carbonation common across the RTD category, Tempted took a more measured approach, calibrating each element so that cherry and pomegranate flavors shine through without overwhelming the palate.
"We were always ordering Dirty Shirleys and could never find a canned version that actually tasted like the real thing," said co-founder Yoni Bierig.

Ray, who is deeply embedded in nightlife and digital culture, spotted the market gap firsthand and joined the founding team to help bring the product to life. Her reach across the social occasions Tempted is built for, pregames, beach days, nights out, makes her a natural fit for the brand.
"Everyone loves a classic Shirley Temple, it's nostalgic, it's familiar. But when it came to ready-to-drink, everything felt the same… seltzers, teas, nothing that really stood out. We saw a huge gap for something more fun and true to the original, and that's exactly what Tempted is," Ray said.
Tempted is currently available on Gopuff in select markets, with retail placement already underway at ShopRite and independent liquor stores. The brand plans to expand distribution in the months ahead.
