A Long Drink or “Lonkero” is the most popular alcoholic beverage in Finland. Lonkero was invented for the 1952 Helsinki summer games to provide the city with a crisp and refreshing beverage made from gin and grapefruit. After growing up in Finland, our founder Janne moved to the sunny shores of Southern California. We wanted to keep the authentic name but change the spelling in a clever way (switching the KE to CA) to symbolize our local California headquarters.
